Sad to say but yesterday was the last time we were going to be teaching sunday school here at the training school. It was a lot of fun! We told the story of Jonah and the whale and the kids really enjoyed it. Though the whole time with them was good, i think one of the things they liked the most was my whale vomit craft. They were all grossed out but could not stop eating it because it tasted so goood. The weather was so nice yesterday that we were able to have sunday school outside. The kids really enjoyed that as well.

WOW almost 2 months since the last posting lol Well, a lot has happened in the last two months. My brain is only going back to about a week ago so I'm sorry if i have missed anything important. Last Monday was cool. We took the whole day off and went for a picnic out at Bear Mountain. It was great! we ate, played football, then tried to play cricket. The next day in gym class sucked because we were so sore from all the running we did lol. This Friday was cool too. We went to an all boys home and observed what they did daily. It was sad because these kids who were labeled as "bad kids" were not so bad and you could tell it was because they had people around them who cared about them and didn't take their crap. Maybe if they had people like them in their lives sooner they would not be in that mess now.

This week has most definitely been a crazy one! But a good crazy. Last week was not so bad, the work was alright but we had a lot of prep to do for this past Sunday. We went to a Salvation Army Corps in Stamford Connecticut and had a blast worshiping with them and also teaching them about God in our own way. The morning service was good. In a lot of corps you will not see a lot of men and its even more unusual to see men in uniform but not at this corps. Id say about 85% percent of their congregation was male and also most of them were soldiers. The worship was great and it is all in a style that the men like. I think that is great because you can tell that they are truly worshiping and being filled. The children's meeting was a blast! They were all well behaved and were very cooperative. A good relationship built on trust is definitely something that they have there with everybody and the results of having that trust is amazing. Brian and Ruth Thomas provide the church with not only the physical but also the spiritual needs it needs to grow and be effective and that is obvious by just observing what is taking place there.

Ok, Railton last semester was pretty tough but the only words that come to mind when i try to describe it this semester is Railton times 3 with like ten red bulls! It is going so fast and there is so much that needs to be done its crazy. There is SAROL, youth councils, preview weekend to prepare for and on top of that we need to keep up with all of our classes. Some mite ask well then why the heck are you there! But the answer is simple lol I love it. Yes the work is no joke but the reward for what we do is amazing. I feel like I'm finally doing what God made me for and yeah it gets stressful sometimes and there are those long late nights writing papers or reading books but those things are necessary so that i can fulfill my calling as a youth pastor.
This week went like the blink of an eye. We had our Newburgh Ministry site on Sunday then again on Wednesday and they both went so good. Because of the snow on sunday there were not many children at Newburgh so instead of doing the whole lesson that we had planned and worked for hours on we quickly planned a new one for the 5 kids that were there. It was good because instead of planning a whole new lesson for Wednesday we just used Sundays. They both went very well and I fell that the children really enjoyed it. Me and my team love going to the Newburgh corps so much and its going to be so sad when we need to change our ministry site. This wednesday is our last time with them. God is doing some seriously amazing things with the children and the corps there in Newburgh and it such a blessing to be appart of that.
