Crazy week!

This week has been a little crazy. I guess they were rite when they said life at Railton will just get crazier and crazier lol. Its not a bad thing though, I just need to get used to it. I'm trying to stay on point and i think I have been doing an ok job at it but i just hope i can keep it up. We had a few assignments due this week and i think that's why it felt so crazy. Over all I'm having a great time at the Railton school and I'm glad that God has placed me here. The group is still getting along great and I'm starting to feel closer to all of them. Were like one big family and its great. God has been talking to me a lot this week giving me signs left and rite and answering prayer. I also think that God has given me a new spiritual gift. Its pretty new to me so i don't know much about it so I'm praying that he helps me to better understand it so that i can use it the right way. I'm being quiet about it so I'm not going to say what i think it is but i just hope that in the future i can use it to help other people. This week Railton got to do its first children's bible lesson at the Bay Ridge corps in Brooklyn. It felt so great to finally get out there and interact with children. I met a lot of childrenthat day and I'm praying that we got through to them. It was also weird because the corps that we went to was a block away from my high school. It felt good going back and seeing the area. I even saw a few old friends walking in the street. Whoever reads this entry pleas pray for me. I'm doing ok but please just pray that i stay on track. Thank you

This past week has been a crazy one for me. Mostly Exiting and fun but also a little sad. Friday night me and the other students had a welcome at the centennial memorial temple at 14th street which was cool then after that I got to go home. I was supposed to go to a birthday party for my friend on Saturday but i didn't feel like going because something happened Friday night between me and her and i was a little upset about it. I think it would have been awkward if i went but I'm over it now and I'm fine, i just feel kind of bad that i did not show up. Instead i decided to stay home and sleep all day which was good because i was working so hard all week at school. Its been sad for me and my friends these past few days because a good friend of ours Raymond Livingston was promoted to glory. I'm happy because I know that he is no longer in pain anymore and i know for a fact he is in heaven doing what he always loved and did best singing his heart out for Jesus but I'm also sad that he is no longer with us. Raymond was a great influence on my life and many others. He is the reason why i started singing and because he got me to sing at such a young age i was able to join the youth chorus and do a lot of other cool things. Raymond had an amazing voice that i would do anything to have and he lead hundreds or people to Christ with it. Ill never forget him and the great christian example that he set. I'm going to miss him a lot.

A day at a time.

I truly believe that coming to Railton was one of the best decisions that i have made in my life. I am learning so much both in class and about myself that i never knew before. I'm so grateful that God has put me here and placed me among such cool people to live and grow with. I don't know what i would do without the friends that i have made here. So many times they have helped me with school work and reminded me of things that i forgot to do. At first i had my doubts about being here but I'm sure that this is where God wants me and i wouldn't want to be anywhere else. So far school has been fun and I'm enjoying it a lot.
